A branded Emporio Armani Caffe in Yekaterinburg has terminated a franchise agreement with the local owner.
According to the Ural owners, the franchise agreement with Emporio Armani brand placed significant limitations on the menu and the interior of the cafe. While the specialisation in Italian cuisine was self-explicable, the veto on having coat-hangers in the cafe was quite against the demands of Yekaterinburg climate.
The franchise agreement was terminated with the view to rebrand the premises to host a new eatery, Corteo Caffe. It will remain located within the Corteo Fashion Mall, the luxury shopping centre in the capital of the Urals Region, but from now on will serve a large variety of meals and dishes, including business lunches and coffee breaks.
The management promises to retain the same level of prices, along with existing benefits to regular customers (e.g. discount cards).
