The largest Lada-branded car manufacturer, AvtoVaz, has registered its right on the trademark Lada in the category of toys and has chosen a partner, which will produce the toy Ladas.
AvtoVaz is going to promote the brand Lada due to car toys among kids, and may be among grown-up collectors.
The company has registered more than 10 trademarks, among them brands Kalina, Granta, Largus, Priora. Under the Lada brand AvtoVaz may produce games, toys, gymnastic and sport goods, Christmas-tree decorations.
The AvtoVaz plant is not going to make car models itself. A Tolyatti-based company Grand Toys will produce the car models.
The start of production and its volume has not been clarified yet.
