An exhibition of works by the famous avant-garde artist Kazimir Malevich will be held in the Tretyakov Gallery on Krymsky Val from September 6 to November 25.
The exhibition will present graphic works by the leader of a suprematism Kazimir Malevich and his two most dedicated students and stalwarts – Ilya Chashnik and Nikolai Suetin.
The exposition will include Malevich's graphics works from different periods of his creativity, his drawings of unfinished or lost figurative compositions of the late 1920s years, and unique sketches of suprematist compositions.
Graphic works by Ilya Chashnik and Nikolai Suetin - easel drawings, architectural projects, sketches of fabrics and murals – reflect the ideas of universalizm and multifunctionality of art that were popular in the 1920s.
The exposition will present works from the collection of the SEPHEROT Foundation, Liechtenstein.
