For the first time, Russia has become a host of the pageant, which was held in Southern Russia, in the city of Rostov-on-Don.
All the contestants from over thirty countries took to the stage in similar apparel, swimming suits and evening dresses.
Colombia's Layla Martinez, 26, has become the winner of the contest. She is a qualified lawyer and TV-host, and has been married for ten years. The brunette has a six-year-old daughter.
Contestants from America and Kenya were placed second and third, while Ivetta Sevchenko from Russia picked up the coveted Mrs Beauty title.
The "Mrs Universe" pageant is similar to "Miss World" or "Miss Universe" contests, but only married women are allowed to participate in it. The contestants can have children or even grandchildren.
In 2011 Maria Yeroshenko of Russia's Rostov-on-Don city was titled "Mrs Universe", that is why the contest has come to Russia this year.
