Radical Chapman Brothers Occupy Hermitage Museum

The exhibition End of Fun by the radical British artists Jake and Dinos Chapman will be opened in the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg on October 5.

The exhibition will be held in the General Headquarters Building in the framework of the program Hermitage XX/XXI. It presents two graphic series by the Chapmans: one is based on Goya's etchings, and another one consists of the artists’ drawings on the subject of Disasters of War with regard to realities of the 20th-21st centuries – tragic September 11, 2001 in the USA and the war in Iraq.

Goya's graphic art from the Hermitage collection will be displayed in tandem with Chapmans’ works.
