A few years after university programmes in Social Media have begun to appear in the UK, the capital of the Urals Region in Russia catches up by introducing a 2-year MA programme in Political Journalism.
This unique programme accumulates the invaluable experience of specialists in Journalism, Sociology, Philosophy, and Political Studies. The graduates will be able to apply their skills as journalists and editors in traditional and corporate media, bloggers, political coaches, political image-makers and analysts.
In the two years of MA programme students will be able to participate in round tables, seminars, and master classes; perform situational analyses and deliver presentations.
Among the course units are Latent Acting Agents of Political Media, Contemporary Media Systems, Political Media Management, Contemporary Media Language and Text, Media Project Management, Ethical and Legal Foundations of Modern Media, etc.
The entrance exams to the MA Programme in Political Journalism at the Ural Federal University in Yekaterinburg have just finished. We will update this piece once we have the students' figures.
