On Tuesday, computer hackers attacked the website of Moscow's Khamovnichesky Court, where three members of the anti-Putin punk group Pussy Riot were jailed last week.
The international hacker group Anonymous announced their responsibility for hacking the web page of the court.
The hackers posted a message calling for the release of the three members of Russian punk band who were jailed for two years each on Friday. There was also a slogan "Putin's thieving gang robs our country! Wake up, comrades" and the music video 'Mrazish' by Bulgarian singer Aziz, a rather sleazy homosexual clip.
The site's page sections were also renamed: there were departments called "Liars and promisers", "Court practice is worse than ever." etc.
The court website's administrators managed to renew its normal functioning only several hours later.
Hackers have also published the court's e-mail correspondence, most of the letters are statements in Pussy Riot's support in Russian and foreign languages.
