The Russian car producer AvtoVAZ intends to cut a period of a new car development from 64 to 39 months, reports Interfax. Up to 2017 the company is going to invest 5.58 billion Rubles into development of the necessary technologies.
According to the news agency 2.69 billion Rubles will be allotted to the development of the digital technologies to reduce cost of a car development and increasing products’ quality.
AvtoVAZ will spend another 2.5 billion for development and modernization of test complex, including crash tests. The rest of the means will be invested into development of the information technologies and the system of intellectual property management.
