On September 30 well-known Russian rock musicians will give a concert dedicated to the semicentenial anniversary since the birth of Viktor Tsoi in the Olympic Sports Complex in Moscow.
Among the participants there is Vyacheslav Butusov (ex-frontman of Nautilus Pompilius band), Picnic, King and Clown, Pilot, Kukryniksy, Noize MC, Louna, Knyazz, F.P.G., After 11 and others.
Viktor Tsoi was born on June 21, 1962 in St. Petersburg, and died in a car accident at the age of 28 in 1990. In 1981Viktor Tsoi jointly with Aleksei Rybin and Oleg Valinskiy founded the Kino band, which was originally titled Garin & The Hyperboloids. One of the most popular Soviet rock bands existed for 9 years altogether.
Throughout that period the band released over a hundred songs, a few collections and concert records.
