After a long negotiation period, Moscow authorities have approved the opposition "March of millions" planned for September 15.

Both officials and opposition activists managed to agree about a site within the Garden ring. The approved march will start at 2 p.m. from Pushkin square, along the boulevard ring and will end at Akademika Sakharova avenue with a rally to take place at 4 p.m. The event is planned to finish at 10 p.m.

Opposition activist Sergey Udaltsov has said the rally's organizers are satisfied that the action will take place in the centre of the city, in the appointed day and hour. Previously, Moscow officials rejected several ideas about rally's place. The mayor's office also reduced the number of people who could come to the march - from requested 60 thousand to approved 25 thousand people. Udaltsov has already said they are ready to pay fines for exceeding the number of protesters.
