Members of the Baltic archaeological expedition of Archeology Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences found in Ladushkino (Kaliningrad Region) a miraculously preserved burial ground of the ancestors of the Prussians of the early 4th-5th centuries A.C.
The ancient burial belonged to the este— Prussian’s ancestors that lived in this region in the 4th -5th centuries A.C. Scientists have found more than ten funeral urns, in which ashes were stored after burning of bodies on fires. They also found fibulas, knives, buckles, and beads, which were delivered from Northern Egypt, according to archeologists.
It should be pointed out that archeological excavations were organized by the Kaliningrad Amber Museum to find amber in ancient cultures. So far only one amber bead of the 4th -5th centuries has been found, whereas other ornaments had been destroyed by funeral fire.
Now archeologists assort a stone masonry made of 150-kilogram boulders. Thousands of huge stones were brought by the este from far away.
