The City of Moscow is to sell its 50% share in the Radisson SAS Slavyanskaya Hotel. The starting bidding price is 8 billion Rubles, announced the Deputy Mayor of Moscow Natalia Sergunina.
The Radisson SAS Slavyanskaya began operating in 1991. It occupies 3.8 hectares on the Berezhkovskaya embankment in downtown Moscow. It has 410 rooms, 4 restaurants, a shopping mall, and a business center.
Earlier this year the Moscow authorities have sold the hotel Metropol for 8.874 billion Rubles. It was acquired by the company Okhotniy Ryad Delux, controlled by Alexandr Klyachin. In the end of 2011 another famous Moscow hotel, National, was sold at an auction for 4.675 billion Rubles to ZAO Smart Finance Group.
