Eduard Khil

Petersburg authorities are going to pay tribute to the outstanding Russian singer Eduard Khil

The toponymic commission has decided to name the public garden between houses No. 8 and No. 4 in Shcherbakov Lane after the glorified singer. Edward Khil lived in the house situated near to this public garden.

Besides, this summer the culture committee of Petersburg suggested establishing Eduard Khil singing award; the offer is presently under consideration.

It is a reminder that Eduard Khil died on June 4 this year after a serious illness.
