The Russian largest private oil company Lukoil is planning to sell half of its filling stations in Serbia. The company would like to get €13.6 million for 85 filling stations, informs the company on its site Lukoil Serbia.
The price of a cheapest filling stations amounts € 5 thousand, the most expensive one costs € 500 thousand. The company reports that these filling stations turned out to be unprofitable. But now they may become of interest for small and family business.
Lukoil Serbia owns 187 filling stations in the country, what makes it second largest oil supplier in Serbia after Gazprom Neft NIS. In April this year the company tried to sell 26 filling stations, but failed.
Lukoil started its business in Serbia in 2003, when it acquired 69.59% shares of Beopetrol which owned a large network of filling stations in Serbia for € 117.
