Russian producers of vodka have exported 2.3 million dal of vodka in the first half of 2012, what is just 5.5% of its total production volume, reports RBCdaily.ru, referring to the Federal Customs Service.
The biggest part of the exported strong drink is consumed in the CIS countries, where Ukraine takes 29.6%. Russian vodka is also popular in Germany, the USA and Great Britain.
In the first half of 2012 fifty six Russian plants have exported vodka to 63 counties. The leading export companies are CEDC (brands Green Mark and Parliament), Global Spirits (brand Russian North) and The Alcohol Siberian Group (brand Five lakes).
For the same period the import of vodka into Russia made up 2.12 million dal.
