Russian Orthodox Missionaries On Duty At the Railway Stations

Marking time in the railway station waiting for your train? The Russian Orthodox Church is there for you. Specially trained "consultants" will be present in the station and at the station church, to assist the needs and answer the burning questions of the travellers.

The Missionary Commission at the Moscow See states that these consultants will be particularly active during the busy times at the station:

"For those who wish they will be able to provide consultations regarding the Orthodox faith and give them some textbooks for reading, e.g. special leaflets or missionary booklets".

The consultant "base" will be formed of the graduates of the specialised Missionary Courses and of the Missionary Faculty of the St. Tikhon Orthodox Humanities University. They will be on duty every Friday, starting November.
