JCDecaux, one of the world's leading outdoor advertising companies, is to acquire 25% share in the Russian Russ Outdoor from VTB Capital. The French company will bring the assets of its Russain company BigBoard in the authorized capital of Russ Outdoor to get places in the Board of Directors.
Russia is considered to be the second largest outdoor advertisement market in Europe. It has always been a strategic interest for JCDecaux, said the General Director of the French company Jean-François Decaux.
JCDecaux is going to develop Rus Outdoor via introducing new technologies and creating harmonic city spaces to fit the highest world’s standards.
