Alfa-Bank, the largest private bank in Russia, has claimed its assets has reached 1 trillion Rubles in the third quarter 2012. Up to now only largest state banks have overcome the level of 1 trillion in their assets, reports The Vedomosti.
Since the start of the year the volume of issued retail credit has grown 31.9% to make 132.3 billion Rubles, the level of corporate credit has risen 20.3% to 820.4 billion Rubles.
Alfa-Bank has become the seventh Russian bank, which assets are over 1 trillion Rubles. Earlier only state banks have reached the result, among them are Sberbank with 12.3 trillion Rubles assets, VTB with 4.16 trillion Rubles, Gazprombank with 2.7 trillion Rubles, Rosselkhozbank with 1.5 trillion Rubles, VTB 24 with 1.4 trillion Rubles and Bank of Moscow with 1.3 trillion Rubles.
