More than 30 works including sculptures, large-scale paintings, and multimedia installations created in different years and representing all range of the artist’s creativity have been brought to the exhibition. Among the new works there are Life Breathes the Breath (2012), The Origin of the World (2012), Vice as an object of Virtue (2010), Stealth Kate (2010); and hyper realistic paintings from the The Eye of History series: pictures depicting a human eye that reminds of bottomless ocean depths or faraway galaxies.
Personal exhibitions of the master have been held in the Tate Gallery in Britain, the Roman Museum of Modern Art and other well-known exhibition centres.
The exhibition runs till December 16.
