Cheburashka House-Museum will be built in Moscow

A House-Museum devoted to the famous Eduard Uspenskiy fairy-tale character Cheburashka will be built in the Eastern administrative region of Moscow, told the press-service of the Eastern Prefecture in Moscow to RIA News.

Cheburashka House-Museum is planned to be built in Kosinskiy Park. Currently the project is under development and it is not known when it will be realized and how much it will cost. The House-Museum may have a parking space and sign posts in Russian, English and Japanese. At least in 2013 a parkway of fairy tales by Uspenskiy is planned to be opened in Kosinskiy Park.

At the moment Cheburashka Museum is operating at Moscow kindergarten #2550 in Kozhukhovo. But it is not opened to the wide audience.

The Cheburashka House-Museum may attract a lot of tourists to the city. Cheburashka is much loved by Japanese, who own the distribution rights on the animation cartoons about it.
