Mail.ru Group to expand worldwide under brand my.com

Russian Internet company Mail.ru Group has claimed about its intention to expand in the international Internet markets, using its new global name my.com, announced the company in its press-release. Which countries are of interest of Mail.ru Group has been not specified.

      
The company has been testing some of its services in the world market for about a year. Now Mail.ru Group is planning to present its services under one global and short name, my.com.

      
The internet holding has had already an experience of entering new markets, first of all in the sphere of Internet games (Alloids Online, Perfect World, Warface and others). Mail.ru Group has also headquarters in Germany, Israel, Latvia.  

      
About 53.4 million Russian Internet users are using Mail.ru Group services. The company owns the mail service Mail.ru, social nets Odnoklassniki and Moi Mir, two instant messengers Agent Mail.ru and ICQ, some on-line games. It also has a share in the social net Vkontakte (39.99%), the paying service Qiwi (21.35%) and minor shares in Facebook, Groupon and Zynga.
