A personal exhibition of paintings by the National artist of Russia Georgy Leman has been opened in the exhibition centre of the Union of Artists of Russia.

      The exposition is dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the artist. The exhibition covers the entire period of the artists creative career of over the last 50 years, from his earliest works to present-day paintings.

      The exhibition presents more than 100 works from the artists studio. 

      The generation of Moscow artists to which Georgy Leman belongs has already contributed a lot to the development of Russian classical art. It is their creativity that is associated with the Moscow painting school, which played an important role in the art of the late 20th century and the early 21st century.

      The exhibition runs till November 9, 2012.
