Calligraphy Exhibition Opens in Moscow

International Calligraphy Exhibition has been opened in the Sokolniki Park in Moscow. 

      The exposition presenting more than eighty works by professional artists-calligraphers and designers from all over the world, including Russia, Mongolia, the USA, China and Israel.

      The exhibition has been held in Russia for the fourth time: active promotion of this ancient art of writing for general public was started in 2008. The first exposition was opened in the building of the Russian Academy of Arts in St. Petersburg. Modern Museum of Calligraphy was opened in Sokolniki the same year.

      The exhibition will run till 15 December 2012.
