Monuments to all known people who lived or worked in Vladikavkaz (Republic of North Ossetia-Alania) will be set up in the capital of North Ossetia every year, the city council has approved. 

      A monument to the well-known writer Mikhail Bulgakov will be set up in Vladikavkaz soon. It was here that the author started his creative career. At the beginning of 1919 Mikhail found himself in the Caucasus, where he tried to find his brothers, and at the same time started working in the local newspaper The Caucasus. Then he worked as a doctor in the Armed Forces of the South of Russia during the Civil War. Only at the end of 1921 he managed to settle in Moscow. 

      Earlier, in 2011, a monument to the famous poet Mikhail Lermontov was already set up in the city.
