Railway ticket prices are expected to rise by 10 per cent in 2013 - this is only true for common carriages, the most popular and required carriage type on the Russian Railway trains.  

      Four-people carriages' prices will increase by 5 per cent, while two-people carriages will remain unaffected by the price change. 

      The Ministry for Economic Development states that a 10% increase will become annual, starting in 2013.
