November 28, 2012 will see a one-day Spanish festival coming to Moscow's Garage Centre.
A child-friendly playground will be built in the Garage's premises, imitating the style of Guell Park in Barcelona, designed by Antonio Gaudi. Facilities will also be adapted for skaters' performances.
Visitors will cook Spanish meals, try jamon and paella, and taste wines from practically all Spanish regions.
Loft gallery space will house exhibitions on football and corrida. There will be lectures on contemporary Spanish culture, design, music, literature, history, and painting. Visitors will be guided through virtual excursions to Spain's principal museums and art galleries. Special screenings of Spanish documentaries, shorts, and features will also take place.
Last but not least, the vibrant atmosphere of the famous Mercado Del Encantes will be transferred to Moscow, and visitors will be able to buy clothes, souvenirs, and real Spanish foods.
