24.11.2012 15:38

Moscow Zoo plans to extend tourist facilities and open a new entry to the park's premises.

A large-scale reconstruction project will see finishing the works on remodelling the main entrance, creating a secondary entrance from Barrikadnaya Street, and connecting the Zoo with the Planetarium by a pedestrian walk.

The temporary elephant pavilion and terrarium will be revamped, and a Mechanical Animal Theatre will be placed to work near the main entrance.

Children's zoo will also be finished, a cafe appears, and further visitor facilities will be added. Two parking slots will accommodate 457 cars.
