At Sobornaya Gora, the main tourist attraction at Plyos in Ivanovo Region, there is now a central tourist point with exhibitions and a regular museum exposition.

      The tourist complex has long lacked the central point where the visitors could gather. Called Prisutstvennoe Mesto (literally "office"), the new building houses a museum with a regular exposition dedicated to the history of Plyos, as well as temporary exhibitions. The first of them is dedicated to the Times of Trouble in the early 17th c.

      Plyos is ideally located to visit either Ivanovo or Kostroma. The new museum is equipped with ramps and elevators for disabled visitors.
