The “Ethno Fashion” festival, held in St. Petersburg for the 7th time already, is a unique multicultural event of its kind, dedicated to the ethnic fashion.

This time, not only the designers from St. Petersburg took part in the event. A lot of talents from Moscow, Tomsk, Kazan, Yakutsk, Belgorod, Kiev, and other cities demonstrated their creations. This means that designers from the Russian cultural capital had a tough competition. On the other hand, it shows that the interest to the ethnic fashion is constantly rising.

Among the organizers and the jury of the festival are the leading specialists of the Russian Museum of Ethnography, famous designers, fashion historians and art critics. “Ethno Fashion" is gradually becoming a multicultural event. Musicians, hairdressers, makeup artists, body art artists, collectors of ethnic clothing and hand made masters were invited to take part in the competition as well. Design competition was in the format of a fashion show, and in addition to this an exhibition was held.

The “Ethno Fashion” festival is associated with the city program “Tolerance”.
