The deputy Anton Belyakov proposed to ban the visits to Lady Gaga`s concerts for minors, as it is dictated by the Russian law. “Due to the specifics of genre, content, lyrics, artwork, there may be some content at this concert that is prohibited for children according to the Federal Law “On protection of children from harmful information", then this ban is an objective measure" - he said. A. Belyakov added that some items of the programme, which are assumed to be shown at the concert are breaking the law of St. Petersburg "On the ban of homosexuality promotion among minors" and some items ill-use Christian symbols of faith that religious people have the reason to consider blasphemous. He recalled that in several countries, such as Indonesia, Lady Gaga`s concerts were banned, and in other countries, particularly in South Korea, the restrictions on the spectators` age were introduced.
In fact, the tickets for the Lady Gaga`s concert will be marked "12 +" as this age limit was defined by the singer.
