The Russian Government has appealed to the media and society to stop the apocalypse hysteria.

      Various suggestions have been made as to the ways to curb the Doomsday talks, including fines for spreading the rumours and panic. The Health Minister was particularly outspoken on the subject, suggesting to gag those sources that are especially active at "preparing" the Russian citizens to the imminent collapse. 

      Meanwhile, some shops started selling "End of the World" kits - just in case.
