Airport Passengers Asked To Use Aeroexpress To Reach Airports
30.11.2012 16:28

Russian Railroads and Moscow City government asked the citizens due to travel by air to use aeroexpress trains to get to and from the Moscow airports during the heavy snow.

The heavy snowfall has all but disabled the life of the city of Moscow during the last week of November. Despite the numerous cleaners and special transport trying to alleviate the consequences, many people were still late for work, with some parts of Moscow being practically blocked for traffic.

To avoid the disappointment and getting late while driving a car, travellers are advised to use aeroexpress trains to reach Domodedovo, Sheremetyevo, and Vnukovo airports during the heavy snows. Branded trains powered by the Russian Railroads take merely 40 mins to reach any of the airports, thus reducing the commute time at least twofold.
