The Sochi 2014 Olympic Torch Relay to become the longest in history

The Sochi 2014 Olympic Torch Relay will be started in Moscow 7-10 October 2013 and will be finished in four months at the day of Olympics opening, reports RIA News.

      
The Sochi Torch Relay will become the longest and the largest one in the history of winter Olympics Games. The Relay will last 123 days, the fire will cover 65 thousand kilometers and will visit capitals of all 83 Russian Federation subjects.  The Olympic fire will be delivered to the Mount Elbrus in the Caucuses, the Lake Baikal and the North Pole. It will be carried by 44 thousand people including volunteers.
