Russians appreciate attractive conditions and speed of service more than reputation and location, says a recent study.
According to a survey by the National Agency for Financial Studies, Russians do not really care whether the bank provides any of its services online or boasts beautiful interior.
All they need is a high return on their deposits or low rates for the loans they take.
It's mainly the youth that are interested in online services while the elderly say the ideal bank has to be state-controlled and well-known.
The National Agency for Financial Studies has (NAFI) is a leading Russian market research company, specializing in banking, insurance and investment, as well as working for governmental organizations and state regulators.
