The monument will appear in the hometown of the famous musician - in the town of Shchyokino (Tula Region).

      Regional authorities have already announced the competition on development of the project.  It is known that the monument is planned to cast of bronze.

      Igor Talkov was a famous Russian rock musician, singer, songwriter, poet, and a film actor.  He was killed during his concert in October, 1991 in St. Petersburg. Igor Talkov was laid to rest at the Vagankovsky Cemetery in Moscow.
