The long-awaited Moscow-Manchester connection flights will reportedly start at the end of March 2013 when the British air carrier EasyJet begins to serve this route.
Until now there have never been direct flights from Russia to Manchester; British Airways (and until recently - BMI) offered flights via London, with connection made either at Gatwick or Heathrow airports.
Some passengers claim they have already bought tickets for Moscow-Manchester flights, following some long-winded procedures on the air company's site. However, presently Moscow has been withdrawn from the list of available destinations for Manchester passengers.
With the new route details agreed, EasyJet plans to serve this route 4 times per week, on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday. The company plans to use Airbus A320 to deliver passengers to their destination.
The Russian oldest air carrier Aeroflot also claims to be interested in serving the same route.
