Well-known Russian artist Nikas Safronov promises to file a lawsuit against creators of a video of the scandalous punk band Pussy Riot for the use of his image without his permission.

      According to the lawyer Sergey Zhorin representing interests of the respectable painter, the claim is prepared under Article 152-1 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation "Protection of right for image".

      "Nikas has never supported this band. It is not clear, for what purpose he was  recorded at a public action and included into the video — the Interfax agency quotes the lawyer. — We are probably going to address the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia so that they establish the creators of the video and the one who was the first to post it in the Network".
