Russia became the first country where the easyJet low-cost airline allowed passengers to return money for the tickets after a strong recommendation by the Ministry of Transportation.
Tickets worth $72,49 will be refundable for passengers flying between any of the British cities and Moscow.
Paul Simmons, easyJet's UK manager, said the company has introduced the new rule because it wants to comply with the local legislation. He didn't mention, though, whether the airport and fuel fees will be refundable.
The first Airbus 319 flight between Moscow and London is scheduled for March 28th. The low-cost carrier is planning four flights a week.
