International Fairy Tale Games Become an Annual Tradition In Kirov

The International Games in which participants are fairy tale characters from all over the world will now become the annual tradition in Kirov.

The Games first took place in May 2012 and were attended by such characters as Kolobok, Pinocchio, Puss in the Boots, the Golden Fish, and others. The characters participated in a special pageant and then concurred in various games.

Kirov dedicates much effort to developing the region as a centre of fairy tale tourism: there are a Museum of Fairy Tale artifacts,  a manor house of Ivan the Tsar, and a Museum of Fairy Tales.
