The State Museum-Reserve "Tsaritsyno" presents the exhibition "Remembering the year 1812. The Patriotic War and Russian society".

It is probably no need to remind you that this year is an anniversary year: the whole Russia has celebrated the 200th anniversary of the victory in the Patriotic War of 1812. Many events dedicated to this date were highlighted by the journalists in the media. And now, in the end of the year, the museum-reserve "Tsaritsyno" once again turns to the event significant for the history of our country, and it is just in time. Moreover many items of our exhibition will be seen by the general public for the first time.

At the exhibition at the "Tsaritsyno" the amateurs of the country's history will see over one hundred and fifty exhibits from the museum as well as from private collections: paintings, drawings, the items of the court life of the time, military uniforms, models of firearms and bladed weapons of the opposing sides, unique archival documents and a large collection of books published for the 100th anniversary of the Patriotic War.
