The famous British artists - the Chapman Brothers whose exhibition in St. Petersburg received negative reviews and ended in public prosecution inspection, responded to the allegations against them.
The brothers apologized, but in a special form: "We are extremely sorry that some visitors of the exhibition "The end of fun" at the Hermitage were extremely upset. It is extremely sad to receive accusations of extremism - especially from religious groups. We hope that the public prosecutor assigned to investigate the charges of extremism will accept our extreme apologies".
The brothers also added that they are not going to come to Russia any more. The exhibition opened on October 20. The central work presented the brothers` vision of the Hell on Earth: miniature plastic figures depicting the Nazis killing each other with brutal cruelty.
