International Festival of family and children's films, "In the Family Circle" was held on the sites of the Ural theatre of music and cinema "Salute". One of the central events of the festival was the premiere of the play "Educating Rita" based on the play by William Russell and directed by the world-famous Polish director Krzysztof Zanussi.

According to Zanussi, this work of art is dedicated to the values of the family. "It is about the importance of human life filled with gentle, sincere feelings, reverence for the beauty of the true culture - not an endless pursuit of money and new things, this play is wise and funny" - the director noted.

He attracted such actors as Olesya Zheleznyak, Fyodor Dobronravov, Irina Medvedeva to participate in the theatrical production. Zanussi is happy to have discovered these actors for himself.

The subject of the Russian Film Festival that opened in Yekaterinburg on December 7, 2012  is intimate and familiar to the Polish director. That's why he agreed to chair the panel of judges at the event.
