Moscow Polytechnical Museum and the Multimedia Art Museum announced the start of their long-term program of cooperation on November 20, 2012; this program includes the complex of exhibitions, video/film screenings and public lectures for adults and children.

In 2013 the Polytechnical Museum is planning to launch a number of new activities related to implementation of the new Concept of the museum and in particular, of the partnership interdisciplinary projects. In connection with the closing of the historical building of the museum for reconstruction, many of these projects will be implemented on the external sites that will also strengthen inter-institutional cooperation. The focus of the joint program of the Polytechnic and the Multimedia Art Museums is on the international projects in the field of science and media art cooperation. The exhibition part of the joint program of the Polytechnical Museum and the Multimedia Art Museum will open in September 2013 by the exhibition of works of the legendary American photographer Berenice Abbott that are dedicated to the experiments in the photographing of physical and chemical processes and experiments.
