The main purpose of the exhibition is paying the attention to the roots of folk artistic crafts, promotion of craft traditions, preserving the spiritual heritage of the Belarusian people.

The visitors of the exhibition can see the crafts that Belarusians were occupied with in the olden days. The exhibition features the items of carpentry, blacksmithing, timbering, and weaving. Moreover there are also agricultural tools, furniture, ceramic tableware, household utensils.

One of the stands, for example, tells every detail about the blacksmithing - the activity of the old Slavs who lived on the territory of the modern Belarus. Also the exhibition displays a wide range of crafts of blacksmiths, potters, weavers, home utensils, traditional Belarusian costumes.
