The ticket price for Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics will be set by the International Olympic and Paralympics Committees, says the newly signed Russian law.

The tickets will be distributed only by specially selected organizations. The illegal distribution will be fined. A natural person will have to pay a penalty of 10 times cost of a ticket, an official will have to pay 20 times cost of a ticket, but no less than 50 000 Rubles. A legal person will be fined from 500 000 up to 1 million Rubles.

The city of Sochi will hold the XXII Olympic Winter Games in 2014. It will be the first time that the Russian Federation will have hosted the Winter Games.
