St. Petersburg dwellers will be able to apply to register their marriage at a local Registry Office (ZAGS) via the Internet. The service will start working form 9 January 2013.  

Two applicants should apply from their personal cabinets at the St. Petersburg State Services Portal (www.gu.spb.ru ). The applicants should be registers users. The spouses-to –be are to fill in an application form, to choose and book convenient time and place of registering the marriage.

The state duty of 200 Rubles could be paid via mobile phone or by a banking card. The receipt and the invitation for the marriage registration should be printed.
