Among the leaders are Tatneft, up 36.61 percent, Bashneft, up 33.97 percent, Rosneft, registering a 25 percent growth, followed by Lukoil whose shares grew 18.53 percent.
Dmitry Lukashov, from the investment company Solid, points to the high share of refining as the key success factor.
Rosneft’s size has made it extremely appealing. After its acquisition of TNK-BP last year, it has become the largest publicly traded company in terms of output and oil reserves.
