The Russian consulate is working hard to protect the interests of the Russian citizens and has filed a request to the Cambodian Foreign Ministry, says an official statement.

      Among the trio under arrest is Sergey Polonsky, one of Russia’s most notorious multimillionaires.

      The other two are Konstantin Baglai and Alexandr Karachinsky.

      Their Cambodian defense attorney Virakbot Suong Khun said they will be entitled for a bail plea once the investigation is over, which could last for several weeks.
