The Russian Major Hockey League has fined eight players from Kazakhstan’s HC Saryarka, Karaganda, and Russia’s Dynamo Balashikha after a match full of brawls and fights.
They tallied over 258 penalty minutes in a match won by the Kazakh side, 7–1.
The size of the fines has not been disclosed.
The Major Hockey League is the second-tier ice hockey league in Eurasia, including teams from Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus.
