Underwater Parking Slots Project Goes Ahead In Moscow
(Source: http://expert.ru)

The lack of overground parking has led to an unusual decision to move parking space to the bottom of the Moskva River.

The lack of space to park a car is particularly prominent on the Island of Balchug on the opposite side from the Kremlin where many offices are located. To solve the problem, a Moscow-based group suggested to create special underwater parking spaces. An elevator will take a car to the bottom of the Moskva River and deliver it back to the owner upon presentation of a parking ticket.

No starting or completion dates of the project are disclosed at present.
